Our design team collaborates with tanneries to help develop new leathers and new techniques that create distinctive finishes. PFI’s designers team up with leading designers from Lucchese, Anderson Bean, Tony Lama, Dan Post, Rios of Mercedes, and many more, to create unique and unusual designs and finishes to make boots that you will definitely not find anywhere else!

Stressed or Distressed? This is the question.
This BootDaddy collection with Lucchese is all about the finishes on these genuine lizard boots. “We wanted to create aged works of art with this collection”, said BootDaddy. Choosing different colors as a base, Lucchese put the skins through a stonewashing process and then we burnished them with different waxes to create that feeling of “these boots have been in my closet forever”. Each of these boots has an extraordinary stitch design on the foot as well as the shaft.
Ostrich says it all with this BootDaddy collection! From choosing a unique vintage design called a triad to using floral embossed leathers on the shaft, “This collection is definitely in the upper-class of the 1883 Lucchese boots, “ says BootDaddy.
BootDaddy and Lucchese have come out with another great design. This Lucchese Cowboy Comanche features a roughed goat leather foot. The foot and heel counter are accented with a antiqued leather scrolled cut-out overlay. The shaft is a premium distressed and burnt goat leather. The cushioned channeled leather insole, with a Double stitched 3/4 welt, stacked leather heels and brass nailed outsole combine together for a Classic fit.

From a dark and dusty back room of the Tony Lama Factory that has stood since 1911, it was like opening a door to history. After hours and hours of rummaging through box after box, we found some of the original patterns and metal dies used to cut out the intricate inlays and overlays that were so prevalent in Tony Lama styling in the early 50’s. In partnering with Tony Lama’s designer, BootDaddy was able to create a new spin on a classic look.
